- I forget who was talking about a Dungeon Master type Bad Mood game,
- but here are my thoughts on the use of trees and mountains. Trees could be
- done easily- they'd jus be big scenery Things. Although most of the scenery
- in Doom is smallish, I don't think it's a problem to have big things.
-
- Mountains would be more of a problem since they'd be made out of a
- series of steps, but if the texture used for the floor and the one used for
- the walls are both fairly similar, then you might be able to create a
- decent enough illusion. Remember that the steps don't have to be square,
- the sector can be any shape, it's just that the floor will always be flat.
-
- Also, I don't know how easy it would be to make sloping floors
- (just the illusion of sloping would be enough, the player would still climb
- them like steps). There were angled floors in Lasers And Men (although they
- were impassible).

- Have another day.
